rosie is such a noisy lil thing. she is  cute. she squeaks evrytime i rustle a bag. it is so funny. and she is always out. she is very out-going and never shy. my dogs dont really like her but she is always at the tip of the cage sniffin them out. whenever i give her a treat in her food bowl she grabs it and rushes back to her cage but she purrs. it is like her way of saying thank you. i love it. she is very unique and no guinea pig is like her. haha. but all guinea pigs are special in their own way....love 'em mwuah

ok, my last blog wasnt about guinea pigs so i will tell you more. my girlie piggie rosie is very funny. she is just like a person....she has a very cool personality. she squeaks when i call her name and she doesnt like to be held by anyone but me. she knows i am her mommy and it is so funny. when i say 'i love you rosie'....she purrs. how cute is tht. but anyways she loves treats especially grapes and lettuce. it is so funny when she yawns cuz she has a cute light pink tongue so tiny and yet so adorable. she is definately the boss in her cage, she shares it with my sisters guinea pig. but i love her and always will

 if you think your guinea pig has an illness look at there symptoms and find what might be wrong!

bite wounds-sores,redness,swelling,infections,pain or tendernesss, draining puscompanions,overcrowding.  ; guinea pigs will get this from fighting among there                                                 

cancer-sick,no appetite,weight loss, depression, inactivity,sometimes visible lumps   ; guinea pigs will get this from old age,viral disease, some cancers may be inherited.

dehydration-when skin is pulled up it is slow to fall back in place,,weakness      ; guinea pigs may get this from bacterial infections,stress, improper diet, hot environment, heatstroke

diarrhea-soft,mucous,or liquid feces,odor,wet around butt,poor appetite, weight loss, dehydration       ; guinea pigs may get this from bacterial or viral infections, stress, or improper diet.

ear problems-scartching, head shaking, loss of balance, head tilted to one side; guinea pigs may get this from infection, parasites, injury, disease

eye problems-discharge(runny eyes) or cloudy, dull eyes   ; guinea pigs may get thsi from infection or irritating substances, injury, disease

hair loss-areas of balding or patching hair;  guinea pigs may get this from barbering of their cagemates, self-inflicted hair pulling due to boredom, parasites, hormonal imbalance, stress

heat stroke-hot, weak, unresponsive; guinea pigs may get this from high tempatures

infections-symptoms vary depending on types of germs and severity of the problem; guinea pigs may get this from bacteria, fungus, and viruses

THEN AFTER WATCHING THT SCROLL DOWN AND LOOK FOR RELTED VIDEOS AND CLICK 'how not to talk to girls' . i swear you will love these videos if you have a sense of humor....do it. do it. DO IT!!!  oh and also type in the guinea pig song. it will be easy to find. but watch it. i swear u will think it is the cutest lil video ever

heyyy its faii......i have a guinea piggie named rosie. she is about 3 years old and is cute as can be. tht very christmas morning of 2005 was amazing. my aunt told me she was going tobuy me one and i cried. i had wanted one ever since i knew what they were. she is alot smaller than an adult one but she is fun size. i love her so much and i know she loves me. i mean sure she might make a mess but tht will never change my mind about her. i would do anything for her and i hope she lives for a long time. she is just like my best friend, when i cry she licks my tears away and when i need somebody to talk to she is aways there, even tho she cant understand me. u r proly thinkin that i am way too in love with her but she is proly the most AMAZING guinea pig ever to walk the earth. i love you rosie! peace

It is always good to have a cagemate for your guinea pigs. If you can't spend time with them 24/7 then a cagemate will! Your guinea pig will have a playmate and you won't have to worry about keeping them entertained every second. I have two guinea pigs and they get along great! Neither of them get lonely when I'm not around and when I am around I play with them, hold them, and love them with all my heart! Remember: two pigs are better then one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey! i love guinea pigs so much. i have one guinea pig right now and her name is cookie. my sister gave her the nickname cucleen. my sister also has a guinea pig whos name is rosie. they are both about 3 years old. i used to have a guinea pig named muffin. she died on new years eve. not the best time, huh? it was very sad but i still love cookie. i love when guinea pigs yawn and sneeze. they make the cutest little noises. its a shame because i cant post any pictures of my actual guinea pigs until my computer is fixed but i can give you details! cookie is black and white with one small brown spot on her back. i think it is very cute because cookie has a small white spot right on the top of her cute little butt. i love guinea pigs and i always will. god created them for a reason, and that is to be spoiled rotten!!!!!

buy a chew resistant hay rack i highly recommend them they are awesome. they reduse messes

if u have a guinea pig or are thinking of getting one do NOT BUYING ANYTING YOU WILL USE FOR YOUR GUINEA PIG BE PLASTIC. THEY WILL CHEW ON THEM AND YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY A NEW ONE
